A special GED graduation party was held at the Blue Star Casino on February 11 for the first five graduates of the GED preparation class sponsored by Blue Star Casino and Pioneer Technology Center. This class was held for Blue Star employees and those in the White Eagle community. The graduates are Guyanna Warrior, Lydia Rhodd, Darrell Clark, Frank NoEar, and Leon Hernandez. Pictured with the graduates are Nellie Roughface, Doug Rhodd, Scotty Simpson, Ponca Tribe Members, and Mary Scott, Pioneer Technology Center's ABE/GED program, and Janice Page, casino manager. Also, assisting with the graduation was Mercedes Pappan and Jerrie Rosborough.

A new GED preparation class will start February 20 at the Blue Star Casino and will meet Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. Adults, 18 and over, in the White Eagle community interested in attending please call Janice Page at 580-765-0040.
