On February 1, Pioneer Technology Center’s (PTC) construction technology program welcomed Rick Scott as the day’s guest speaker. Rick Scott is the president/owner of Rick Scott Construction Company and the vice-chair of PTC’s Advanced Construction Training System (ACTS). Scott recently attended an Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) conference and shared some information from the event. The theme of his talk was "Construction, the best industry in the U.S." Scott spoke to the students about opportunities in the industry as well as the importance of soft skills. Scott concluded his information by expressing to the class that "success" is doing what you truly enjoy doing for a living.
