The Advanced Construction Training System (ACTS) chairman, Randy Kyler, met with the Pioneer Technology Center Construction Technology program students last week. The ACTS program is the initiative lead by local contractors to promote internships, advanced training and careers in the construction industry. Kyler, owner and operator of Sooner Construction Company of North Central Oklahoma, spent the day discussing the importance of attitude and the abundance of opportunities available in the field of construction. Fernando Gallardo and David Hazard, both of Tonkawa, were two of the PTC students who attended the presentation.
