Current Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) School Board Member, Mary Rigdon, has announced her intention to run for re-election of PTC’s School District Board of Education. Her current seat is located in Zone 1 of PTC’s district and includes the Newkirk area along with a portion of Ponca City. Rigdon has served as a board member for Pioneer Technology Center since 1996.

"As current board member, I have worked diligently to keep abreast of the issues that face Pioneer Technology Center and the CareerTech System, statewide. I would like to continue to be a policymaker and life-changer through Pioneer Tech. I believe in our mission to enhance and broaden students’ academic and career opportunities, and I value our partnership with business and industry to promote economic growth for our area," stated Rigdon.

This past August Rigdon completed a three year term in representing Pioneer Technology Center on the Oklahoma Career Technology Administrative Council (OCTAC) along with serving one year as president of Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers (OATC).
