
Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) instructors, Sheila Foxworthy (left) and Beth Frantz (right) have been just been notified that they are now recognized as National Board Certified Teachers. National Board Certification is the highest credential in the teaching profession. Both Foxworthy and Frantz’s areas of certification include career and technical education and early adolescence through young adulthood. Foxworthy’s specialty areas include business, marketing, information management, and entrepreneurship. Accordingly, Frantz’s specialty area is in health services.
Sheila is a business and information technology education instructor and is beginning her 17th year at PTC. She is married to Dennis Carruth and has two children at Ponca City High School; Cameron, a senior, and Trisha, a junior.
Beth Frantz has been an instructor PTC’s health programs for over 27 years. She is married to Warren Frantz. She has two grown children, Emily and Jennifer.
