2008-2009 Welcome and 1st Assignment

August 11th is rapidly approaching, and a new year is upon us!  For the first Monday and Tuesday, we will meet from 8:00 to 11:00 am.  The AM/PM schedule will start on Wednesday, August 13th.

I am so excited to get this year started.  You each should have received a letter inviting you and your parents to the New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 7th at 6:30.  Parents and students are welcome - we will have plenty of cookies!

For your first assignment for the year (and for 10 points) send an email to traceyj@pioneertech.org with the following:
1.  Your Name
2.  Your Favorite Color
3.  Your Favorite Food
4.  Your Birthdate/time/place (If you know)
5.  Your favorite subject in school. (No pressure here - what you really do like.)
6.  What is the single most memorable school assignment you have ever had?
7.  What made that assignment memorable?
8.  How have you spent the largest percentage of your waking hours this summer?
9.  If you had to memorize a grocery list - what would you do to make sure you remembered everything?
10.  What one thing would you like to learn about in Physics or Calculus this year?

So, start going to be early, waking before noon, getting some exercise and eating properly.  Be prepared for the 'ride of your life!'  And remember:

                                                     Physics is Phun!
